Bio-printing technology is a hot topic in research fields of life science in recent 10 years.It has been used in extensive research and application of biomedical engineering,stem cells and bio-microarray.However, few Bio-printers are showed in the market owing to few manufacturers and expensive cost.In order to solve this problem,the author develops two kinds of simple bio-printer and a kind of bio-ink to directly print the mammalian cells,the gradient of medicine and the cells-hydro gel for laying a solid foundation of medicine screening based on bio-printing technolog.In this paper,the research content is as follows:1. The commercial thermal inkjet printer Canon ip 1980 was modified as bio-printer,and used it to directly print Mcf-7.Under microscope,the builded cell microarray was integrated and has highly active.The results show a feasible method to modify effectively the thermal inkjet printer as bio-printer.2. The dose of 5-FU by printing were changed by the red,green and blue(RGB) color model,and were analyzed by HPLC. The in vitro cell biological activity of cells-medicine comples biological microarray was determined by MTT.The dose was 30.09±2.69?g/mL when RGB was (30,30,30),and relative inhibitory rate of Mcf-7/5-FU was 49.02%.The results provide a novel thinking in exploring in vitro cellular level of medicine evaluation by bio-printing technology.3. Chitosan and 2,3-epoxypropyltrimethylam monium chloride were used to synthesize N-[(2-hydroxy-3-trimethylammonium)propyl]chitosan chloride(HTCC),and researched the the effect of different reaction time on physical and chemical properties.The results show HTCC synthesized at 6h is suitable to regard as main material of bio-ink.4. Fused Deposition Modeling(FDM) 3D printer was modified as bio-printer for printing bio-ink loading Mcf-7,and then a tumor model in vitro was structured by bio-printing. Fluorescence staining,Urease kit and antitumor drug were used to detect bioactivity of tumor model.The results showed 3D tumor model was superior to 2D culture condition at biological activity.It realizes construction and primary application of 3D bio-printing device.
