| With the progress of the society and the improvement of science and technology productivity,3D printing technology,which is one of today’s advanced rapid prototyping technologies,makes a breakthrough in traditional molding technique and is becoming a part of our daily lives.By combining rapid prototyping system and computer data model,3D printing technology can manufacture complex models directly,while dramatically reducing the cost and shortening the design and production cycle of products.Therefore,3D printing technology has a wide range of applications.The thesis firstly introduces the working principles of 3D printing and defines materials that would be used for printing,showing a rough plan of printing the stone model.To achieve the goal of independent working and studying,a general framework has been designed.Main processes can be divided as follows:(1)Pre-production: mainly shows modeling processes,like using the 3DMAX software to design a stone model,and using the Pro Boolean command for characters carving,and then leading out the STL file and test it in Netfabb after confirming the dimension.(2)Generate print file: use Netfabb to check the error of the initial exported STL file,and creat G-code which can be identified by 3D printer in professional slicing software.(3)Print setting: use methods of testing data,integrating data and statistic analysis to study the data of model printing.(4)Printing process: it’s the key step of 3D printing,requires Debugging the printer and do some printing tests.However,by looking up relative material and constantly absorbing experience from my failures during the test,I eventually gained the critical and precise data of 3D printing a campus culture landscape stone.(5)Post processing: post processing decorating step which is after the printing,decides the esthetic of the final model.I used various external tools to remove the extra parts for polishing.At the end of the article is the introduction of 3D printing technology’s value in education aspect and its advantage in educational reform,as well as the conclusion of3 D printing technology’s shortages and improving methods.The study result will be offered to teaching,used for reference,and I hope that by this way,more and more students can have chances to learn more about 3D printing technology. |
