Early Architectural Literature Review And Research-?Zuo Zhuan?

First, there is a need to clarify that the “early” highlighted in the subject titlemeans Pre-Qin Period. Literatures on early construction mainly includes the existinghistorical documents of Pre-Qin Period, the relatedPre-Qin historical documents inHan and Han after and contemporary literatures on Oracle, Jin words and related imagedata collection. Among them, Zuo Zhuan, which is the first existing detailedchronological narrative history book in China and one of the most important historybooks in pre-Qin era, records a lot of facts about early construction, and sketches outthe architectural development situation of early time.Therefore, Zuo zhuan is the mainresearch text in this article, combining with other historical documents in pre-Qin era,pre-Qin historical documents in Han and Han after(mainly includes collation andresearches of pre-Qin literatures in Qing Dynasty, contemporary researches of Oracle,Jin words and related image data collection), and assisting with the relatedarchaeological materials to collect, collate and research the construction-relatedliteratures. This paper focuses on related systems, basic shapes, construction materialsand technologies, model features and other aspects of early construction (city, ancestraltemple, palace, garden etc.), in order to show the overall development and basicfeatures implicit in the historical literature in the early Chinese construction clearly andcompletely, especially the information can not provided by certain physical andarchaeology, such as building systems, architectural culture etc., which can make thestudy of early construction more substantial and complete.
