For the new generation of migrant workers who have a dream of the city,the smaller cities and towns that seek the next best place for the county to achieve a smaller version of the city dream is also a good choice.However,it is difficult for migrant workers who settled in the county to find suitable jobs to cope with the high cost of living.Therefore,although migrant workers settled in the county,they still have to travel to other places to look for work.After marriage,the new generation of migrant workers gradually became the backbone of the family.The elderly wife and children need to take care of them and go out looking for work to cope with the family expenses,but the family needs someone to take care of them.So under normal circumstances,migrant workers go out and look for work,and the elderly wife and children stay at home.This forms a new group of small towns that stay in the county town.The author will make this group a "new stay" group.The family unit where the "new stay-at-home" group is located is called the "new stay-at-home" family.The original village stays in a high-homogeneous traditional society,while the new town stays in a more heterogeneous modern society.However,on the other hand,the county town is actually more of a transitional zone from rural to urban areas.Therefore,the newly-left-behind urban community will have some common behavioral behaviors with the original rural stay-behind group,such as the affinity of acquaintances.Therefore,for the new family members,including the new generation of migrant workers,the social relations that integrate into urban life have both acquaintance relationships and stranger relationships.The author calls this relationship “a semi-acquaintance relationship”.This is also the characteristics of the relationship that small towns represented by county towns have.As the basic unit of the new left-behind group,the new left-behind family shows the order of the relationship in the family members’ relationship structure.This order is also the basis of the complexity of the family structure.When the family structure changes with the growth of family members,it is also a time when the family member relationship changes.At this time,the new generation of migrant workers who are the backbone of the family economy will face the dilemma.The formation of this dilemma has both the factors of the new leftover family structure itself and the factors of the living environment of the new town where the family stays.In the future,China’s urbanization will accelerate its development and the new generation of farmers’ unions will become an important group to promote the development of small and medium-sized towns.The issue of the new family left behind is fundamentallya manifestation of the incomplete urbanization of China’s urbanization in the process of small and medium-sized towns.With the accelerated development of small and medium-sized towns in the future,the identity of the new generation of migrant workers will also become a staged historical identity as the times develop.Integration into the city as a goal of urbanization in China,along with the process of democratization in the process of urbanization,among which the problem of the new family left behind will exist within a certain period of time and become an important issue.
