This thesis selects Wei xin moments as study object, research the development of technology gave rise to new things are in a very short time into the People’s Daily lives under the folklore research views, though the research on the function of moments, probe into the virtual field constructed by the technology. Especially, the moments based on "strong ties" network, Traditional, folklore of emotion and culture exist whether or not, whether Wei xin moments is the metaphor of acquaintance society or not, eventually to answer the problem of the relationship between the technology and folklore.On the basis of field work, with the combination of folklore, anthropology, sociology and communication and so on, put Wei xin moments into the folklore horizon, in order to observe the folklore in our daily which be surrounded by the technology how to obtain the new form and continue to inheriting.This article includes seven parts, begins with the introduction, the body of the set includes five parts, finally ended with the conclusion. The introduction part tells the purpose of the selected topic and research value, the significance of selecting Wei xin moments as the object of observation, combs research situation about the Wei xin,daily life and the relationship between technology and folklore, besides introduce the theory and the main research methods used in this thesis. At last, tells the innovation and inadequate in this paper.The first chapter mainly introduces Wei xin and moments, define the “strong ties” in the moments, the ”private” of Wei xin moments and it’s different from the traditional acquaintance society which on the basis of blood and geographical relationship.
