The trunk pillar stresses the joint force of the shoulder, trunk and hip, emphasizing the stability of the trunk in every action, emphasizing the effective control of the movements from the core to the extremities from the near end to the distal end, maintaining the correct training of the movement control under the correct body posture, and the effectiveness of the energy transfer in the process of high movement. To reduce sports injury in exercise. This paper mainly studies the influence of different training methods on students' sports performance, taking 60 students of class 3 and class five of grade five of Northern Jiaotong University as experimental subjects. Before the experiment, the subjects are randomly divided into groups and the two groups have no obvious differences after T test. The experimental group performed trunk strength exercises while the control group performed traditional classroom exercises. After 8 weeks of training, two groups of sports performance were tested, and the scores before and after the experiment were analyzed by SPSS in groups and between groups. The results of the study showed that after 8 weeks of experiment:1.trunk backbone strength exercises can improve pupils' standing long jump,do well on 1 minutes, throw solid ball and flat support.2.the backbone strength can improve students' physical performance while improving their stability, balance and trunk strength.3.trunk backbone strength exercises should be combined with traditional sports practice, complement each other and complement each other. And play an active role in improving pupils' interest in exercise and prevention of injury.4.trunk pillar strength exercises should follow the principle of feasibility in primary school physical education, the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, the principle of gradual progress, the principle of interest, the principle of integrity, and the principle of combining ability and method.
