With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,the concept of history teaching has also changed,emphasizing the cultivation of students' learning ability,focusing on students' learning methods.As an important part of historical maps of students' learning ability goals,development of curriculum resources,especially in the senior high school entrance examination exam in recent years,increasing the proportion of cases,application of historical maps in the middle school history teaching is particularly important.This paper uses questionnaire survey,experimental method,literature research method and case analysis method to study the existing problems and solutions of history map in middle school history classroom teaching.First,the definition of historical maps is defined,including the definition,characteristics and classification of historical maps,and the application value of historical maps in middle school history teaching is emphatically analyzed.Secondly,expounds the theoretical basis of historical map application in middle school history teaching,and in-depth classroom teaching,through the questionnaire survey,and the existing map application history in middle school history teaching problems.Finally,combined with the practice of their teaching,to reflect on the problems arising in the investigation,in the analysis of all kinds of historical map teaching textbook,namely based situation road map,map,shipping water conservancy administrative territory Map,distribution characteristics,and put forward specific improvement methods to the history of the map application.The research in this paper enriches and supplements the existing teaching theory and practical experience of historical map,and provides some reference and reference for the teaching of history map in history teachers of middle school.
