Our country has carried on the large-scale education form and the mental health status of primary and secondary school teachers deserve our close attention.Based on the literature review,We had not found the research about the relationship among existential anxiety,perceived social support and core-self evaluation.What’s more,there is no scale about primary and secondary school teachers’ existential anxiety.For that reason,We take primary and secondary school teachers as research object,Using a self-measure of existential anxiety to examine the present situation of primary and secondary school teachers’ existential anxiety(study 1),and then,examining the relationship among existential anxiety,perceived social support and the core self-evaluation(study 2)and provide a new thinking for teachers’ mental health.Results indicate that:(1)The Existential Anxiety Scale(EAS)includes 26 items,6 dimensions,and also has good consistency reliability and a factor structure consistent with the theory.(2)There is significant difference in loneliness and alienation anxiety and guilt anxiety on gender;There is significant difference in condemning anxiety on age,marital status,having children or not and teaching experiences.(3)The existential anxiety has significant correlation with core self-evaluation and is negatively related to core self-evaluation.(4)There is positive correlation between core self-evaluation and perceived social support.(5)The existential anxiety has significant correlation with perceived social support and is negatively related to perceived social support.(6)The existential anxiety and perceived social support are expected to predict the level of core self-evaluation and existential anxiety has negative prediction and perceived social support has positive prediction.(7)The path analysis shows that perceived social support has mediation effect between existential anxiety and the core self-evaluation.
