Writing teaching is not only important but also difficult part in Chinese teaching.However,the complexity of writing process and individual mind has determined that it is not so easy for teachers to improve writing teaching.Practices have proven that writing evaluation is one of the key links to improve the efficiency of writing teaching and students' level of writing.So teachers should pay close attention to the whole progress of students' writing as well as study the effectiveness and strategies of correction of composition.In our country,the traditional methods of writing teaching can no longer satisfy the needs of modern writing teaching.Although many Chinese teachers spend a lot of time and energy responding to students' writing,it still seems that their hard work does not pay off.This paper tries to find out the effective methods and approaches so as to improve writing correction in senior high school and then to enhance students' writing ability through questionnaire,interview,literature review,combing the writer's teaching experience from the aspect of the purpose,content,and methods of writing correction.So the paper is of great theoretical and practical value to improving teachers' writing correction,and teaching ability and contributing to the innovation of Chinese language teaching.
