Compositions play an important part in the Chinese teaching. In the traditional composition teaching, teachers occupy the stage. Students who are the principle sectors are in a passive position and even show no interest in writing. In order to improve the students'interest in writing and study the road of teaching reform of composition, this paper tries to use composition correction as an entry point.There are three parts in the paper. First, the statement of secondary school students'interest in writing. Second, the current complexion of composition writing instruction in secondary schools. Third, study the correcting method of stimulating students'interest in writing. It first explains the background and significance of students'interest in writing, then study the psychological impact of students'interest in writing and the theory of motivation, train writing motivation and stimulate students'interest in writing. Next, propose different correcting methods and rules to arouse students'interest in writing according to the current complexion of composition writing instruction and the reason that students show no interest in writing. Through different correcting methods, we can encourage and appreciate the students to make them get a sense of accomplishment, inspire their writing motivation and improve their interest in writing. In this way, they will love writing a lot and it can help them develop their interest-- writing dedication and writing will.
