Design And Practice Of Chemistry Extracurricular Activities In High School

In our country,with the deepening of the "new curriculum reform",education has had a rapid development,the school curriculum reform has had great progress.Because students has suffered from the long-term restriction of "exam oriented education" and the teachers' evaluation mainly are used by students' scores,traditional teaching methods can not keep up with the "new curriculum reform" pace,which is needed to support a variety of teaching methods.The extracurricular activities are the extension of classroom teaching and have independent,flexible,open and interesting and innovative properties which have become a popular way of teaching.In this paper the chemical extracurricular activities aimed at senior one chemistry were designed and practiced,some strategies of chemistry extracurricular activities in high school were proposed,in order to find better plans of the chemical extracurricular activities and improve chemistry teaching effect in high school,also to provide references for chemistry teachers teaching in high school.This paper is divided into five parts:In the first part,the background,current situation,significance and purpose of the research were described.The second part,the theories and strategies of chemistry extracurricular activities in high school were introduced.The third part,current situation of chemistry extra-curricular activities in high school were investigated by questionnaire of students and interviewing with teachers in order to understand current situation of chemistry extracurricular activities in high school.The fourth part,the cases of chemistry teaching extracurricular activities were designed and practiced in high school.The fifth part,the results of the research were summarized,and effects the practical research were analyzed,and the deficiencies of this research were pointed out.
