Design And Practice Of Extracurricular Activities In Rural Junior Middle School

Chemistry extracurricular activities are the expansion of chemistry classroom teaching.Extracurricular activities can deepen and expand the scope of students’ knowledge.Extracurricular activities can also activate the learning atmosphere,promote students to study chemistry actively,improve teaching effect,cultivate students’ hobbies and majors,stimulate students’ interest in learning,and cultivate students’ ability to integrate theory with practice.In this paper,chemistry extracurricular activities were designed and practiced according to the characteristics of rural junior middle school chemistry,hoping to provide references for the chemistry teachers’ teaching in rural junior middle school.This article is divided into five parts.The first part the background,current situation significance and purpose of the study were described.The second part the theoretical basis and implementation strategies of chemistry extracurricular activities according to the literature were summarized.In the third part,in order to understand the development of extracurricular activities in rural middle schools in Nayong County,Bijie City,Guizhou Province,500 students in rural middle schools in Nayong County,Bijie City,Guizhou Province were investigated by questionnaire,and four teachers were interviewed.In the fourth part,according to the characteristics of rural middle schools,the extracurricular activities of ninth grade chemistry teaching were designed and practiced.The fifth part,according to the student’s chemistry achievement and the student’s study interest,attitude and so on,this practice effects were evaluated,in order to carry on the chemistry extracurricular activity better.The research rusults indicate that the implementation of extracurricular activities of chemistry in rural middle schools helps to improve students’ performance and enhance students’ interest in learning,meanwhile can help students develop good learning attitudes and can change students’ behavior habits and learning methods.
