Time and space are two basic elements to describe the course of history.Human history launches around time and space and it would be no longer in existence without time and space,vice versa.The teaching of history is the main way for students to learn history and the teacher conveys the historical knowledge to the students through the bridge of time and space,therefore,the concept of time-space becomes an indispensable factor in the history class of senior high school.At the same time,a new round of high school history curriculum reform has already started.The new high school curriculum standard bases itself on the core competence of history and defines the concept of time-space as one of the essential characters and qualities of today's middle school students,therefore,the concept of time-space is very important in the history teaching of senior high school.This paper takes the high school history textbook in Yuelu version as an example,trying to make a basic study on the students' cultivation of concept of time-space and make an effort to develop the concept-cultivating work.This paper is mainly divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction and mainly explains the topics of this study cause.Based on a brief review of previous research results,this part puts forward the purpose and significance of cultivating students' concept of time-space and makes a brief description about the research methods and innovations.The second part mainly discusses the relationship between the concept of time-space and the high school history teaching.This part explains the history concepts of time-space respectively and then clarifies the relationship between them.And the necessity of cultivating the concept of time-space is also illustrated.The third part reviews the common knowledge of time-space in the history teaching of high school so as to enrich the students' knowledge reserves.This part mainly expends from two aspects,time and space.The relevant knowledge points about the time concept include the standard calendar,historical timeline,historical stages,etc;And the knowledge points about space concept includes special geographical names,ancient and modern names of the same place,the territory and administrative divisions,military campaign situation,economic center transfer,etc.The fourth part puts forward some suggestions on the cultivation about the concept of time-space.The suggestions are mainly given from the following five aspects.First,we should be good at using history textbook,digging up teaching resources in the textbooks.Second,we should attach importance to the application of the schema for enriching the students' representation of the history.Third,we should be skillful in multimedia teaching technique and make the history classroom more three-dimensional.Fourth,we should develop the experiential teaching and guide students to obtain the spatial and temporal perception through personal experience.Fifth,teachers and students should set high demands on their own qualities.In this paper,the proposed training strategies are not rigid but mutually linked and intercrossed and promote the development of the concept of time-space together.
