The Communist Party of China and the government of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region have attached great importance to minority education,implement a series of preferential policies of minority education and has greatly promoted the minority education.In the new period and new situation,the Communist Party of China has made a plan to develop the minority education.Therefore,it's meaningful to study the current situation of minority education driven by preferential policies of minority education.Through collecting and reading the text relevant to preferential policy of minority education,this dissertation refines the value orientation and the main aspects from the preferential policy of minority education.Based on them,the writer went to Bureau of education and school of Yarkant County to collect information about the present situation of minority compulsory education,identified the problems about the compulsory minority education and put forward recommendations for the current problems.The first part of the dissertation introduces the origin of this topic,the background of this study,the domestic and foreign research review and the significance of the topic,which are Set the stage for the dissertation discussion.The second part of the dissertation,which is the first chapter of the paper,refines the value orientation of the preferential policy of minority education.Facing the particularity and backwardness of minority education,the Communist Party of China adhere to the policy of national equality and national unity and formulated a series of preferential policies of minority education.From the perspective of nation equality and nation unity,the third part of the dissertation,which is the second chapter of the paper,concludes the text of the preferential policy of minority education.The preferential policy of minority education has developed to a complete system which is including policies in patterns for running a school,teacher supporting policies,education financial support policies,bilingual education policies,education assistance policies.Focusing on the value orientation of national education preferential policy,the fourth part,which is the third chapter of the paper,discusses the present situation of minority compulsory education in Yarkant county from policies in patterns for running a school,teacher supporting policies,education financial support policies,bilingual education policies,education assistance policies.Based on the current situation of minority compulsory education,the fifth part,which is the fourth chapter of this paper,deeply analysis the problems which is include the questions of teachers,quality of bilingual teaching,imbalance of education between urban and rural and the implementation effect of the preferential policies.The policy can promote the education,the question of education also develop the preferential policy of minority education..The fifth chapter puts forward some suggestions to develop the minority education.For example,strengthening the support for teachers,developing bilingual education soundly,taking measures to balance the development between urban and rural,getting public involved in the policy making,strengthening the supervision of superior,enhancing the competition of minorities and strengthening political education.
