The pursuit of education equity is the idea of ancient human society. All of such as Confucius's "No Child Left Behind," Plato 's idea of compulsory primary education and ensuring the rights of freedman's education which put forward by Aristotle reflects the ancient's plain democratic idea of education. In the process of social modernization, along with the elimination of discrimination and inequality, protecting the right of education and realization of equal opportunities in education has been an social and political aspirations, also is the goal of social development. Equal education which overwhelming hierarchy and privileges as a basic human right become the universal value of modern society. In our contemporary life, building a harmonious society and promoting social equity as our major goal, the realization of fair education which can promote social equity was placed in a pivotal position in the 17 party's report. Education equity is considered as the foundation of social equity and is also the major strategy of economic and social development.But in fact, the realization of equity in education is still not easy because of individual differences and unequal phenomenons in area of society, economic and politic. And because china has a large of population along with imbalance development in different region of the nation, it's still a long way to achieve education equity. Regional disparities, urban-rural divide, class differences, gender differences and ethnic differences in education remain the important problems waiting for solving. In response to these social problems in development, government has to adopt various measures. This paper points to ethnic differences of education, and lays its foundation on analysis of preferential policies for minority education. Through the use of Bourdieu's theory-cultural reproduction, this paper concludes that the minority education policy is to rectify unequal culture reproduction.The focus of this paper is unfair problems in the minority areas' education. Through the description of differences between the Han nation areas and the minority areas in culture capital, pointing that how these differences resulted in the unfair in the minority areas. Article's analysis object is the differences of educational level of parents, family's culture environment, and educational expectations of family in family background; conflict between school study and the minority students' culture background; the differences between school education, family education and social education; impact on minority students because of examination system and selection system and the influence because of language. And through the use of Bourdieu's theory of cultural reproduction, putting forward because of the quality and quantity of cultural capital that difference between this two areas leading to the minority students can't obtain higher achievement. This unfair result is related to our education system.System is the radical way to resolve these unfair problems. Preferential policies for minority education provide a guarantee for the minority students' education from policy and legal aspects. This paper analyses the positive significance of these policies, also pointed out the problems. Finally, providing some suggestions to improve them.
