Yao Nai's Educational Thought

Yao Nai,as the epitome of the Tongcheng school,has a very important position in the history of Chinese literature.At the same time,he also invested a great deal of energy in education.In his nearly forty years long educational experience,he has gradually formed its own concept of education to guide the disciples,and spread generations.Study on Yao Nai's education thought is of referential significance on today's education.This article will research on Yao Nai's education thought through four parts.The first part mainly expound the formation and inheritance of Yao Nai's education concept.Analyze Yao Nai's life,we can get that Yao Nai thought is formed,under the social background of the time,by a variety of factors,including the Tongcheng predecessors thought inheritance,home education,Han and Song ideological struggle,Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism influence and so on.And analyze Yao Nai's friends,travel and college teaching process,summarize the inheritance and spreading of Yao Nai's ideas from Yao's disciples,then pursuit system development clue of Yao Nai's thought.The second part focuses on the concept how to be a gentleman of Yao Nai.Here from the requirements for the individual,the requirements for making friends,the requirements of scholarly research to analyze the concept of his gentleman.It is by his own gentleman concept,his ideal image can be displayed to us.The third part focuses on the cultivation of students' writing ability of Yao Nai.By making the requirements with learning of the students,we can analyze the related theories of writing,writing for students to put forward specific methods,and then make a systematic and detailed writing guidance,which enriches his literary theory,has important significance in education.The fourth part is to explain the significance of Yao's education thought on modern education.And Yao Nai's idea was a great guiding role at that time,compared to the modern education system,he pays more attention to the cultivation of students' personality,in traditional Chinese education,his educational theory has its specific guiding role.Tongcheng school thought spread to the later generations,Yao Nai made important contributions to the Chinese literature and education thought.Yao Nai is not only a literary theorist,at the same time it is a front line of teaching worker in education nearly forty years,which the teaching experience enriched the literary connotation and teaching activities,the college and his academic and other behavior has more important influence.Through the study of Yao Nai's education thought,it is conducive for us to understand the formation of the thought,and it can also help the development of modern education.
