The core mission of educational reform and development is to improve the quality of teaching and to improve the overall quality of students. Recently many scholars pay more attention on discovery and develop quality teaching in recent social circumstances. Biology is an important science course in high school. The students learn biological course in high school under compulsory schooling, which will obtain basic biological knowledge, especially will improve scientific inquiry ability of students, understand the quality of biological science, help the student to form correct the view of world and philosophy, further lay the foundation for the lifelong development of students. Therefore, it is important to develop a quality teaching of biological science for high school students, which focus on how to improve disadvantage of teaching and evaluate present teaching methods.In decades, the most popular educational theory is constructivism theory, which consists of the view of knowledge construction, the teacher's view of students, learning and teaching. In constructivism theory the students have principal role during learning process, the teachers just serve as an instructor, helper and promoter for student's knowledge construction. The final goal of teaching is to help students to construct knowledge and to learn the various methods of studying. It is consistent with the theory of new curriculum standard in biological course at high school. Based on previous studies, we used the constructivism as principal theory to explore and evaluate quality teaching for biological course in high school.In this study we analyze the biological teaching current situation in high school by questionnaire method. We try to find the necessary condition and practicability for quality teaching under constructivism theory by literature research method. The quality teaching of biological course in high school carried out by educational experiment research method. It provided ample references and big data for educational reform and development. We found that the students have more interesting on biological study under constructivism theory teaching. The overall quality of students has been distinctly improved by this teaching method. How to improve the quality teaching of biological course, which needs all of biological teacher's efforts to have a further research on actual teaching. It will help students to understanding the basic knowledge of biological course in limited teaching time. It will useful for students have a substantial foundation for science and further life or studying.
