Since the middle of 20th century, the Theory of Constructivism has been very popular in the world . As for the study of constructivism , there are Various researching tendencies, in which the perspective of psychology and view of sociology have been paid more attentions. The perspective of psychology leads to the individual constructivism of educational psychology. The view of sociology leads to radical social constructivism adopted the theory of scientific knowledge sociologyTaking the theory of constructivism as the theory base, the present study investigated the construction of curricula knowledge, with the methods of paper analysis and inquiry. The goal of the study lies in two aspects: one is the knowledge how to come into being curricula knowledge which is the social construction of knowledge focusing on the process of knowledge selection by society ; the other is that students and teachers how to transform the outer knowledge to be inner knowledge which stressing the process of knowledge acquiring by teachers and students and the construction of personal curricula knowledge. It is the study of double process of curricula construction that would set out some valuable advices of how to advance the new curricula innovation and rich the curricula theory.There are four parts in the present paper.First of all, instruction. The plan of the study was given after the explanations of some important conceptions such as curricula, knowledge and curricula knowledge.Section 1, the main ideas and developing process of constructivism. The contents of constructivism was demonstrated in two aspects: individual constructivism of psychology and social constructivism of sociology , which are the theory base of curricula study.Section 2, the construction of curricula knowledge. It is the key of all. Firstly the double contents of curricula construction was explained. It means that construction of curricula knowledge includes social and personal constructions. Then the present condition of the sociology research on curricula was discussed , with the curricula of schools in Tang Dynasty as examples. And the process of personal construction of curricula was discussed with the help of an inquiry which held in 9 primary and secondary schools in Xinyu City of Jiangxi Province.Section 3, the reformation of compulsory educational curricula and the construction of curricula knowledge. Firstly the effect of the theory of curricula knowledge construction on the present curricula theory was depicted . Then the value of the double construction of curricula knowledge for the new domestic curricula reformation of compulsory education.was stressed.
