The Application Of Flipped Classroom In Higher Vocational Colleges

Under the background of education reform and the informatization of education,higher vocational colleges needs to accelerate the pace of education reform.Flipped classroom attracts the attention of scholars,and the model of teaching after learnings praised by the teachers and students.To provide a new feasible way of education reform in higher vocational colleges,this paper puts forward applied research on applying flipped classroom in higher vocational colleges from two angles.One is the necessity of strengthening applied research on flipped classroom.The other one is to solve the problems that higher vocational colleges are facing,which are that the knowledge is abundant but the teaching hours are limited and application gets less attention than theory.Based on the existing researches at home and abroad,the author takes the course of the basics of computer application in A higher vocational college as an example and apply flipped classroom in the course and analysis the application.The design and development,implementation and evaluation on this application is also done from the perspective of instructional design.This study chooses the Rain classroom developed by Tsinghua University as learning platform.The author designs and develops teaching videos for eight weeks.The practice lasts for eight weeks.From the perspective of the whole research process of research,we know that carrying out instructional practice on flipped classroom in specific disciplines can not only accumulate more targeted experiences,but also can enrich teaching experiences of flipped classroom at home.From the perspective of the instructional process and the final results,this teaching model can cultivate students' self-study habits before class.In additional,students have more time to practice and have more opportunities to get the teacher's assistance in class.All in all,flipped classroom can solve the problem in higher vocational colleges referred above in a way.
