With the advancement of new curriculum reform,to improve students’ Chinese accomplishment has become an important task of Chinese teaching, which fully embodies the "Chinese curriculum is the unity of instrumental and humanism" of the nature of the course.In the high school language teaching material, novel with its lively and interesting story attracted students, and it has a good effect on improving students’interest in learning Chinese language and cultivating their language literacy . Bian Cheng is Shen Congwen’s classic, because of its rich cultural connotation and value of education,starting in the ninety s, it was elected to the middle school language teaching material.As a result of the limitation of material capacity, the selection of the Chinese textbook for senior high school for Bian Cheng is a form of selection, and it is also the common form in language teaching material. Comparing with the entire novel title, the form of the selection is special.Breaking the chains of selection teaching, and playing a good education value of classic literature,has a good effect on the excavation of literary value and the realization of teaching aims.This thesis selects Shen Congwen’s Bian Cheng(excerpts) as the research object, to discuss the teaching situation of novel excerpts in the high school language teaching classroom ,and this thesis consists of three parts:In the first chapter of the paper, mainly from the two principals, teachers and students to analysis teaching present situation in high school Chinese teaching of selection . The common disadvantage is that they don’t pay much attention on it. From the overall to special, to roughly comb the teaching design of 10 teachers for the Bian Cheng (excerpts) , and summarize the characteristics .In the second chapter, according to the teaching design, to points out the obvious deficiency.In the third chapter, in view of the problems existing in the teaching design, and combining with the current education environment,focus on the teachers to explore the reasons. Finally in the fourth chapter, in view of the problems existing in the teaching design of Bian Cheng(excerpt), and combines with the reasons which we have analyzed to put forward the corresponding strategies.Mainly includes three aspects: teachers should change their teaching ideas,focus on the cultivation of students’ thinking and personality,and pay attention to the selection of teaching section;teachers should promote their subject knowledge and teaching knowledge;according to the special form of the text excerpt, the teachers should be able to jump out from the limit,establish the global idea to avoid biased.At the end of the thesis, I will provide my own teaching design of Bian Cheng(excerpts) as a reference.
