| With the uninterrupted changing of economic environment,the traditional psychological contract were focusing on employment has been replaced by modern psychological contract focusing on employability.Moreover,the acceleration of such a situation were greatly influencing our domestic market.As a result,it is popular and essential for the developing economy to pay attention to the employers’ ability and self-efficacy,names the self-perceived employability of employers.However,with low competitive power in talent markets,the vocational college students cannot grasp most chance of jobs,but most of them need a proper position in their career,so with much high requirement and impediment of jobs,the vocational college students always have low self-perceived employability,in order to cause kinds of psychology problems.As all,it is very important to explore efficient ways to promote their self-perceived employability.And the student who is more self-supporting,can solve the problems of career development and survive,can recognize the changes of market through positive feedback-seeking more easily,as well proactive the changes or problems more efficiently.In order to get over all crisis of career development,as well earn his appropriate jobs.Therefore,The present study aimed to develop the Self-perceived employability scale of vocational college students based on the Self-efficacy Theory,and explore the relationship between vocational college students’ self-supporting personality and self-perceived employability.As well explore the relationship between vocational college students’ self-supporting personality,feedback-seeking motivation and self-perceived employability based on An Integrative Model of Proactive Behaviors,A Goal Orientation Model of Feedback-seeking Behavior,A Goal Orientation Model of Feedback-seeking Behavior and A Contextualized Model of Proactive Coping,by using self-supporting personality scale of adolescent students,feedback-seeking motivation scale,proactive coping scale and self-perceived employability scale of vocational college students to test 546 students.The results are as following:1.Self-perceived employability scale of vocational college students has four dimensions:self-perceived ability,contacting networks,job seeking skills and resilience.The scale has good reliability and validity,and can be used as an effective measurement tool of Self-perceived employability of vocational college students.2.There is a significant correlation between self-supporting personality,feedback-seeking motivation,proactive coping and self-perceived employability,and self-supporting personality positively predicted feedback-seeking motivation,proactive coping and self-perceived employability,the level of students’ personal openness plays the moreimportant role obviously in feedback-seeking motivation,proactive coping behavior and self-perceived employability(β=0.26***,P<0.001;β=0.25***,P<0.001;β=0.46***,P<0.001),interpersonal openness has the most predict role in feedback-seeking motivation(β=0.22***,P<0.001),interpersonal initiative(β=0.29***,P<0.001)plays more important role for proactive coping behavior than others,and interpersonal independence and interpersonal responsibility play he most predict role in self-perceived employability(β=0.22***,P<0.001;β=0.22***,P<0.001).3.Feedback-seeking motivation plays part mediation between self-supporting personality and self-perceived employability,but proactive coping plays full mediation between self-supporting personality and self-perceived employability.4.The student’s self-perceived employability,self-perceived and contacting networks are all significant in terms of birthplace.Based on the results above,we would put forward the correspond educational countermeasures from the following four aspects: promote the vocational college students’ self-supporting personality,improve students’ quality of practice,build and formal occupational guidance system of vocational schools and help students store enough psychological source to cope with dilemmas. |
