The war is an indispensable topic during the history of human beings,studying the war can acquire a deal of enlightenment.Contents concerning the war in senior middle school history undertake the responsibility to inherit ancient war thoughts,to develop the sense of national defense,to popularize the knowledge about national defense.The wars can be divided in two parts:the wars giving priority to China and the wars giving priority to foreign country.Currently,there are several matters in the teaching work about the war issues.first of all,the teaching work fails to think highly of the inheritance of the war thoughts.’attaching importance to the war’ and ’be cautious to the war’ are quintessences in ancient Chinese war thoughts,these thoughts can deepen students’ understanding about the war.Secondly,the teaching work fails to think highly of the popularization of national defense knowledge.Grasping basic national defense knowledge is good for developing students’ national defense sense.Thirdly,the teaching work fails to think highly of the going deep to military tactics.The teaching remains the level of military strategy,which neglects analyzing military tactics deeply.In the end,the teaching work fails to think highly of the comparison between the domestic war and the foreign war.The comparison between the domestic war and the foreign war is good for the comprehension about the war.The curriculum of Opium War is a key point.Using the picture which contains large scale of poppy flowers imports the course can gain more attention.The part of the destruction of opium in Humen is suitable to begin with the contrast of the import and export commodity between China and Britain.The part of Opium War is the priority among priorities,it should be divided in the reason of the war,the process,the cause of China’s fail,the consequence and the influence.The part of The Second Opium War should take the same procedure with the part of Opium War.The emotional education is supposed to choose logos.The introspection of technical means,teaching strategies and emotional education is good for the promotion of the teaching level.For the technical means,the behavior of getting rid of various kinds of technical means,preferring to select blackboard and writing teaching is inadvisable.Meanwhile,the teacher should balance the teaching contents and the technical means.Teacher should not adopt the teaching strategy of the production.For the emotional education,inspiring the students’ patriotism is not enough,training the rational attitude when confronted with war issues deserves drawing teachers’ attention.
