Self-concept is the combine of children's self attitude and feeling for himself.It makes children know himself correctly,adjust himself to the environment,then create a outside world which is good for his develop.Creativity is one's potential and natural quality,it needs one's study,train and develop,so that the creativity can exerts and comes out.It base on the basic study life,to be clearly,the creativity means the adventure,curiosity,imagination and challenge when children deal with the problems in daily life.This study is committed to verifying the impact of left-behind children's self-concept on creativity.This study employs questionnaires and conducts survey on 4rd-6th grade children in a representative three primary school in Hubei.The Children's Self-Concept Scale developed by psychologist DBEV and Piers Harris in 1969 and revised in 1974 and Williams Creativity Scale are adopted in the study.Relevant data then is processed by SPSS 19.0:(1)using compare analysis on left-behind children and non-left-behind children's self-concept and creativity;(2)single factor analysis of variance to explore grade difference on self-concept and creativity,and independent sample T to examine gender difference on self-concept and creativity;(3)relevant analysis on self-concept and creativity to establish regression equation.Result show that(1)there is no difference between left-behind children and non-left-behind children on creativity,non-left-behind children's self-concept is better than left-behind children's.(2)a positive correlation between left-behind children's self-concept and creativity and children's self-concept can positively forecast creativity;(3)teacher can improve left-behind children's creativity though their study,behavior and happiness.In addition,the following inspirations are drawn form this study:(1)there is a huge regional difference about left-behind children,we should seek the truth from facts when discuss left-behind children;(2)left-behind children are vulnerable group rather than problem group;(3)there are many factors may influence children's development,we can not ascribe to parents' out for everything;(4)the overall level of education in rural areas should be improved.
