The Research On The Cultivation Of Professionalism Of Contemporary College Students

As the traditional virtue of Chinese people,professional ethics was put forward as a specific requirement of core socialist values for individuals in the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.College students are pillars of the state,and cultivation of their professional ethics is the demand of their growth and the development of employers,the inevitable requirement of practicing core socialist values,as well as a part of the construction of a harmonious socialist society.Adopting the literature analysis,questionnaire investigation and the method of comprehensive analysis,this article analyzes college students' professionalism cultivation related content from the prospective of awareness,sensation,will and behavior,explores the path of the college students' professionalism cultivation and guides students to set up the correct occupational values,making contributions to the construction of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics.Falling within morality,professionalism is a product of history and has different connotations in different times.Under the condition of socialist market economy,professionalism has characteristics of vocational values including taking work as the focus,collectivism as the principle,serving for people as the core,and people's comprehensive development as the orientation.Professionalism consists of four aspects including professional awareness,professional sensation,professional will and professional behavior.Through documentary analysis,questionnaire survey and comprehensive analysis,it is discovered that contemporary college students have problems such as superficial professional awareness,insufficient identity with professional sensation,and lacking of firm professional will and practice of professional behavior.The causes of these problems include deficient educational guidance of professional theory,shortage of overall professional atmosphere,incomplete construction of professional protection mechanism,and insufficient individualcomprehensive quality of professionalism.Therefore,we need to deepen the education of vocational theories to constantly improve the professional awareness of college students,create favorable atmosphere to enhance their professional sensation;complete multiple protection mechanism to strengthen their professional will;and elevate individual comprehensive quality to regular their professional behaviors.Through cultivation in four aspects including awareness,sensation,will and behavior,college students will be able to internalize professionalism in their minds and externalize it in their behaviors.
