The eighteenth report of the party has facilitated "patriotism, dedication, sincerity, kindness, and nurture the core values of socialism actively", which means that professional requirements is put forward from a personal level, and provides theoretical supports for college students’ professional spirit cultivation. To strengthen college students’ professional spirit cultivation could guide college students’ professional conduct, solve the problems existing in the current college students’ career, and even enhance the professional quality of college students. At the same time, it is also the need of talent development under the socialist market, it is the need of college students’ all-round development, and it is the need to realize the rejuvenation of the Chinese dream.This article draw lessons from the existing related research results and adhere to the guidance of Marxist theory and the principle of integrating theory and practice, meantime, use the literature research, systems analysis, empirical research and other methods to explain the importance of cultivating college students’ professional spirit; Secondly, through the study of the current status of college students professionalism, on the base of the practical problems and the current defects on college students’ professional spirit cultivation in colleges and universities to analyze the reasons.The cultivation of the students’ professional spirit is a more difficult task, which needs for a long time.
