Discussion On Cultivation Of The Prfessionalism Of Medical Students

The development and progress of medical care depends on medical institutionscultivating medical talents with high quality, and perfect medical education is tocultivate medical students with excellent medical professional skills and professionalism. Atpresent, there was a poor situation of lack of attention and poor effect of cultivation on theeducation of professionalism in medical schools in China, training medical students withsuper medical skills and good professionalism has become a major and urgent issue inmedical institutes. Therefore, medical institutes should grasp the connotation andcharacteristics of medical professionalism, and cultivate medical students with themodern medical professionalism, in order to improve medical service quality, and to promotethe harmonious development of the society and health care service.This paper was divided into four parts. The first part elaborated the significance of theissue, research methods of cultivating medical students’ professionalism and the presentsituation of it.The second part elaborated the connotation of medical students’ professionalism, thetarget and the main contents of professionalism cultivation and medical professionalism.The third part described the current problems of medical professionalism cultivation inChina, such as less attention on professionalism cultivation, unreasonable curriculum onprofessionalism cultivation, the lack of specialized teachers of professionalism educationand the standard system of cultivation and evaluation on medical students’ professionalism,and analyzed the causes of the problem on professionalism education of medical students.The fourth part expounded the countermeasures at present medical studentsprofessionalism cultivation problems, according to the need of market and medicalpractice, put forward to cultivate students’ humanistic spirit of medical, equipped withspecialized teachers, and increased the policy and capital input, and established areasonable evaluation system, and referred to mature experience of other country, promotethe professionalism cultivation of medical students in china.At present, the cultivation of medical students’ professionalism in our country is still a long way to go. Medical college and the medical institutions should continue to carry outthe theoretical study and practical exploration, and modify or improve teaching system andevaluation system of medical students’ professionalism cultivation, to cultivate advancedmedical talent catering for the need of the times.
