An Analysis Of Managerial Actuality Of Independent College Associations And The Countermeasures In Micro Era

Micro era mainly refers to the period to spread information in simple,brief and popular language via WeChat,Micro-blog and other new media.Micro era is by nature the social form of human interaction and the information communication which works through the information media by Internet technology and the new media.The Micro era has a strong impact on people who are receptive to new things,especially the college students.As the main platform for students to exchange academic and social affairs,the development of college students’ associations is inevitably influenced by the Micro era.QQ group,micro-blog,WeChat and other major new media have become major ways of daily communication among associations and clubs.Though the Micro era brings convenience,the fragmentation of information and the generalization of communication have many negative impacts on the management of university mass organization.Independent college is an important part of private colleges in higher education.Generally speaking,students’ associations of independent college s have their own characteristics due to their resources,campus conditions and other factors,in addition to similarities in the form of organization,objectives,members and contents.Taking five independent colleges in Jiangxi Province as research samples,this paper investigates the current situation of the management of college student associations in independent colleges and puts forward some countermeasures under the Micro era.It begins with definitions of Micro era,independent college and college students’ associations and analyzes the characteristics,types and functions of college students’ associations in China.It also analyzes and compares the characteristics of students in independent colleges and the characteristics of their students’ associations.The research shows that the college students’ associations in independent colleges faces both important opportunities and great challenges in the Micro era.According to the new characteristics of micro era,this paper also puts forward the strategies and suggestions of improving the management level of independent college students so as to facilitating the independent college students’ associations to adapt to the community development in the micro era.
