The Independent Institute in the new situation of higher education in China is amechanism and mode of exploration and innovation, and its pursuit of educationalvalue, policy orientation, educational philosophy, training objectives, and publiccolleges and universities is the same. However, the Independent Institute runs inaccordance with the Private mechanisms, self-management model. Independentcolleges have been set up to solve a large number of problems of recruitment in thelast thirteen years, and it expands access to higher-quality education resources betterand faster. But at the same time it also gives rise to many problems in structuralreform, management and implementation of teaching, which become clearer as thescale of the Independent Institute gets larger. Independent School Sports Collegereform will face unprecedented opportunities and challenges. As physical educationteachers, we should have a higher sense of urgency and deeper understanding of ourown work. This thesis aims at improving the physics teaching quality of the University ofElectronic Science and Technology of Zhongshan Institute. Large numbers ofdocuments have been searched; Questionnaires, interview surveys, mathematicalstatistics and other research methods have been used to make a thorough research ofthe current development of our school’s physics teaching. And a further analysis hasbeen carried out on sports teaching classes and sports associations. The result of theresearch comes as follow: there is a severe lack of sports teaching resource in ourschool; a contradiction arises between teaching volume and the students’ ability toaccept it, thus a reasonable combination can’t be established between in-classlearning and out-of-class sport; the use ratio of the sports facilities is low; there is alsolack in communication between teachers and students. All these phenomena willmake it hard for the Department of Physical course to achieve the overall goal of thefive areas; However, sports associations have the characteristics of rich content, various forms, flexible organization and plenty of time, so it is an important form ofstudents extracurricular sports activities. In order to explore an effective way to make our school’s sports more scientific, standardized and healthy, here the thesis putsforwards an idea of the interactive development between the concept of independentcollege sports courses and sports associations. Through scientific and rationalmanagement measures, the interaction among the teaching forms, teaching methods, exercising time, the use of sports facilities and testing methods will occur. The resultof the research finds that the interactive teaching can effectively enhance students’interest in sports, sports consciousness and the overall physical quality of the students.Besides, it also expands the space of the physical education curriculum and enrichesthe content and form of the physical education curriculum and improves theutilization of the sports facilities; improves the relationship between teachers andstudents, and strengthens the role of teacher-led and student-join.The year2013sees an era when the Independent National College faces thechallenge of breaking away from the mother school. In accordance to the principle ofour school’s connotative development, this research is not only in line with thedevelopment ideas of the Independent Institute, but it also makes full use ofeducational resources in our school scientifically and effectively, promoting theIndependent Colleges specifications and effectiveness of training personnel in highereducation and providing a reference for the other brother-colleges’ sportsdevelopment and project.
