In recent years, with the implementation of quality education, more and more people have realized the effects of art education on quality education. Nowadays, art education is welcoming a new development opportunity. At the same time, the Chinese compulsory art education can not completely adapt to quality education. Thus, it is difficult to stimulate students' interest. The new curriculum standard for junior high school art expounds the problems that students may face in learning art. It also emphasize that arousing students' interest in learning is the key to study art. Make full use of characteristics of art course, lead many kinds of teaching methods into the classroom and arouse the passion of the students. Only in these ways, will we stimulate the students to produce a lasting love for art.At present, the data of teaching on art learning interest in the junior high school of Hubei province is mainly from master's theses from Central China Normal University.The investigation of Jingmen is blank. The methods used in this research are literature method, interview method, data statistical analysis and so on. Taking the junior middle schools in Jingmen as examples, the scope of this study is Haihui middle school,Xiangshan middle school, Wenfeng middle school and Foreign Language school. The data will be placed in a carefully prepared form, then aggregated and analyzed. In the questionnaire survey, a total of 305 copies is handed out, and the recovery rate is one hundred percent. By using the software Excel. This paper analyzes and collects the data from the following five aspects: the degree of students' preference for art class, the comparison of school hardware and attitude to art teaching, the category of art class that students like, the way of teaching evaluation that students are more likely to accept, the art teaching methods that students like and some views of students.According to the survey results and following the relevant theoretical, the author will give reflection and complement on the basis of existing achievements. And also the author will put forward to countermeasures and suggestions to further stimulate the junior middle school students' interest in learning art. Thus, hoping to be able to improve my own teaching level, form my own teaching characteristics and make more students love the art class.
