With the booming development of recent Chinese teaching in Thailand,how to apply the scientific teaching theory to improve Thailand students’ Chinese learning has been a pressing problem.For many years,cooperative learning in the field of education has been respected and applied by many scholars and teachers.However in the field of teaching Chinese as a second language,application of cooperative learning to the Chinese teaching classroom is not enough especially in Thailand middle school.By collecting and arranging of cooperative learning theory,this paper combining with Thailand schools’ Chinese teaching and interviewing of Chinese teachers in Thailand applying this theory to teaching in middle school,discusses the problems of applying cooperative learning and the cause of the problems in Thailand School,and makes some relevant recommendations.This paper is divided into four sections:Chapter 1,Preface.It presents the background and the purpose and method of study.Chapter 2,Theoretical research.It describes the concept of cooperative learning,theory and implementation strategy,combines with the teaching Chinese as a second language,and introduces recent study on the application of cooperative learning in teaching Chinese as a second language.Chapter 3,Discusses the teaching practice of cooperative learning in Chinese teaching classroom in Thailand middle school,and records the implementation process of the application of cooperative learning in practice.Finally,comparing with the scores of the classes which use traditional teaching and making an analysis.Chapter 4,Summarizes the significance and existing problems and reasons of the application of cooperation learning,and puts forward relevant proposals.Through teaching practice and interviewing of Chinese teachers using this theory to teaching in Thailand middle school.The conclusion includes the innovation and limitations of this research,and prospects for the future.The purpose of this thesis is to analyze existing problems at present and recommend some suggestions on how to enhance the application effectiveness of cooperative learning in Thailand Chinese teaching classroom with the method of teaching practices in Thailand school.
