With the constant development of the New Curriculum Reform in our country,education faces new opportunities and challenges.In the background of the New Curriculum Reform,it is difficult for traditional teaching to adapt to the development of the society in the future without any changes.Based on the problems about the multifarious content,monotonous teaching method and the disconnection with the development of our society appeared in the course of English writing teaching,the tendency of the development of the New Curriculum Reform and the current state of model teaching method,the paper puts forward the strategies of model teaching method using in English writing teaching of senior high school effectively.In this paper,with the research of model teaching method and English writing teaching in senior high school,I put forward some suggestions of using model teaching in English writing teaching in senior high school to offer theoretical directions for the English teachers of senior high school and add some theories to the research.Besides,the research of using model teaching in English writing teaching in senior high school can help the researchers get to know the real situation and put the method into practice.In a word,using model teaching in English writing teaching in senior high school can help the deep implementation of the New Curriculum Reform and it is also the inevitable requirement of the quality education.I used the methods of documentary research,experimental research,survey research and statistical analyses to study the model teaching method and the English writing in senior high school in theory and practice.This paper states the concepts and theories of model,model teaching method,group cooperative Learning,inquiry learning,and analyzes the current state of the model teaching method and characters of English writing teaching,including the current state of students' English writing.The targets and requirements of model teaching method is in keeping with the multidimensional targets of the current curriculum reform,following the overall development of students' knowledge,skills,process,method,emotion,attitude and value.So it is fit for using in English teaching in senior high school.In order to further illustrate the problem,as an English teacher of senior high school,from my practice in teaching,I applied the model teaching method to the practice of English writing teaching.On the current situation and problems of English writing teaching,I explore the practice of English writing teaching using the model teaching method to solve the problems in English writing teaching.With the experimental research,survey research and statistical analyses of my two classes of grade two,in the steps of putting forward questions,designing experiment,verifying experiment and result,I drawn a conclusion that,for the teachers,using the model teaching method which is good for improving teaching efficiency.For the students,it can help students think and study independently,explore in teams,fully stimulate students'learning interest and enthusiasm,change their attitude in English writing,add students'participation in class,improve the ability of grasp writing principles,knowledge,skills and rules,train students' ability of discovering and solving problems.Besides,it can also help to improve students' ability of using the knowledge and skills to improve their writing ability and level.By using the previous experience for reference,combining the theory of model teaching and the practice in English teaching in senior high school,I proposed five teaching strategies as the following:optimize teaching contents,reasonable present teaching models,organize students'inquiry teaching models,strengthen and consolidate knowledge,and perfect the evaluation system.Exploring the teaching model,students can know the structure of English,get the systematic cognition and learn infer other things from one fact,so that they can get the migration and application of knowledge.In the process of model teaching,the teachers should attach importance to the dominant participatory of students to build a democratic,harmonious,easy and free atmosphere which can help students dare to think and willing to ask questions.In the atmosphere,students of different level and different personality can take part in the class and learn something,emphasizing the creativity of the students to train students to be a critical,active person and can study by themselves.In a word,using model teaching method in the English writing teaching in senior high school is very helpful to improve the teachers' teaching and the learning of the students.It can develop students' ability of finding and solving problems by themselves and promote the improvement of students' knowledge and ability.It's worth trying and spreading.
