In order to explore the relationship among self-control in learning, learning burnout and school adjustment in senior high school students, this study was based on three parts. In the first part, based on the self-control theory in learning of Zhang Lingcong, this part developed the scale of senior high school students’ learning self-control,altogether 912 subjects. The reliability and validity of the scale was relatively high. The second part made a preliminary investigation in 500 senior high school students by means of senior high school students’ learning self-control scale, questionnaire of high school student’ burnout and school adaptation inventory. After the investigation, the third part discussed the relationship between self-control in learning, learning burnout and school adjustment in senior high school students on the basis of the former two parts. The results of this study were as follows:(1)The scale of senior high school students’ learning self-control included six dimensions: diligency, interference control,self-correction,self-supervision,consciousness and self-efficacy of learning. The scale had good validity and reliability and the index of fit was good.It was up to psychology testing theory and was suitable for surveying use.(2)There were significant gender differences in the dimension of the tendency of self-control in senior high school students’ learning self-control.(3)There were significant grade differences in senior high school students’ school adjustment and significant interactive effects in dimension of conventional adaptation,(4)There was significantly positive correlation or negative correlation among the three variables.(5)Senior high school students’ learning self-control and school adjustment could both negatively predict learning burnout, learning self-control could positively predict school adjustment.(6)Senior high school students’ school adjustment was medium between learning self-control and learning burnout, the intermediary effect was the 64.1% of total effect. |
