In order to clarify the influence mechanism of self-control on learning burnout in junior high school students,this study constructed an incremental mediation model,which focuses on the mediation effect of academic self-efficacy in the relationship.With the increasing learning tasks of junior high school students,their learning burden is also increasing.Therefore,the burnout problem of junior high school students is inevitable.They are easy to suffer setbacks in learning,feel powerless,lack of a sense of achievement,thus losing motivation,lose interest in learning.They will feel tired,depressed,unwilling to study,and even lack of sleep,lack of concentration and other problems.In addition,they will also have a strong sense of anxiety,often feel confused about their own future,a lack of confidence.This study is based on the self-control of junior high school students,and combined with academic self-efficacy to explore the realization mechanism of the intervention of the self-control level of junior high school students,hoping to put forward new ideas and new methods to effectively prevent and alleviate the learning burnout of junior high school students.The Questionnaire on Self-control Ability of Middle School Students,Academic Self-efficacy Scale and Learning Burnout Scale of Middle School Students were used.Taking a middle school in Yan’an city as the survey base,a total of 631 junior high school students were investigated as the subjects,and the research results were statistically analyzed by SPSS26.0 and PROCESS.Conclusion:(1)overall,Junior high school students’ self-control ability is in medium high level,learning burnout is in medium low level,academic self-efficacy is in medium high level;(2)There are significant differences between the three variables in grade,origin and class cadres;(3)There was a significant negative correlation between self-control and learning burnout in junior high school students,There was a significant and positive correlation with academic self-efficacy;There was a significant negative correlation between academic self-efficacy and learning burnout;(4)Self-control course can effectively improve the self-control level of junior high school students,To alleviate learning burnout;(5)Academic self-efficacy plays a partially mediating role between self-control and learning burnout.The conclusion suggests that we should pay attention to the learning burnout of junior high school students,strengthen the mental health education of junior high school students,improve the self-control ability of junior high school students,and alleviate the burnout.Through the different characteristics of junior high school students in grade,place of origin and class cadre,we can teach students according to their aptitude,achieve accurate intervention and effective training,which is of great significance to promote the healthy growth of junior high school students.
