In recent years,the new curriculum reform has obtained the remarkable result with the core of quality education.Teaching materials under the curriculum reform are more and more close to reality,life and students after many changes.In the process of simplifying teaching materials by cutting something,however,the essence of knowledge-concept also has been simplified.It has become a new topic in political teaching research in senior high school under the new curriculum standard that the concept teaching should be attached great importance to by teachers in ideological and political class in senior high school to release the full value of the concepts and help students better understand the concepts.Concept teaching,as an important part of ideological and political teaching in senior high school,is a process in which teachers guide students to learn and master political conceptual knowledge in various teaching strategies and methods in a purposeful,planned and organized way.Many first-line teachers have realized the importance of concept teaching and have actively explored ways to improve its effectiveness.And they also have put forward a lot of valuable advice.But in actual teaching,due to the nature of the concept,the students’ cognitive ability,the teachers’ teaching level and others,it is still a difficulty in ideological and political class in senior high school.The author finds that there are some obvious problems in ideological and political concept teaching in senior high school in the investigation.For example,students’ knowledge and ability are more stressed than their moral education;students are told to memorize concepts instead of understanding them;teacher are dominated in the concept teaching instead of students;The result is more emphasized that the process.Some countermeasures are put forward to optimize ideological and political concept teaching in senior high school from five dimensions:teaching aims,teaching principles,teachingprocess,teaching methods and teaching evaluations.Firstly,a variety of teaching methods should be used to carry out concept teaching scientifically by following the scientific,ideological,life-oriented and acceptable teaching principles.Secondly,its leading function in knowledge,ability and emotional attitude values should be achieved by setting reasonable teaching goals.Thirdly,a complete concept teaching process should be designed to guide and help students to introduce concepts,understand concepts,use concepts and consolidate concepts.Fourthly,flexible teaching methods are applied in concept teaching to help students to understand concepts correctly.Fifthly,the teaching evaluation model could be improved to form the dynamic measure standard.In order to implement the optimized countermeasures,the author comes up with the following suggestions.Teachers’ quality should be improved and establish the concept system.Students’ potentiality should be develop based on the students’ cognitive ability.The concept teaching should be designed to be close to students’ life and stimulate their interests.A truly democratic classroom should be created to promote emotions between teachers and students.
