| Work motivation refers to inspire people to complete a work stable psychological tendency.The motivation of mental health teachers in primary and secondary schools is to drive mental health and teachers have love for students,can use professional knowledge to their psychological,study and life aspects of care and guidance of psychological power,It can activate,maintain and regulate the attitude,behavior,and interpersonal interaction(including leadership,between students and colleagues)of mental health teachers.The mental health teachers of primary and middle schools in Sichuan Province,on the whole,are engaged in mental health education for their intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation.On the basis of previous literature,researchers have formulated an interview outline for the work motivation of mental health teachers,and interviewed 17 teachers engaged in mental health education in primary and secondary schools.Data were collected by depth interviews and converted to electronic text.Using SQR Nvivo 11 qualitative analysis software to encode electronic texts to find the classification of mental health teachers’ work motivation.Initial generation of open coding and relational encoding have 17:"work treatment,family environment,sense of achievement,sense of value,professional growth,Other identity,leadership attention,love,students benefit,to help students solve problems,teaching effectiveness,students love,Harmonious relationship between colleagues,job characteristics,Professional restrictions,scientific research and professional curriculum innovation,the overall level of development."Form 7 core codes:”survival motivation,self actualization motivation,respect motivation,interest motivation,responsibility Motivation,relationship motivation,and work motivation"The findings show that there are differences in the motivation of mental health teachers in primary and secondary schools.First of all,The marital status is different from other factors contributing to job motivation.The motivation for unmarried teachers to engage in mental health education is mainly from survival and work itself,and the motivation for married people to engage in mental health is mainly from interest and responsibility.Secondly,Age is different from other factors contributing to job motivation.Mental health teachers under 30 years of age are motivated mainly by survival and work,while mental health teachers over the age of 30 are motivated mainly by the responsibilities and interests of the internal motivation.Again,The teaching age is different from other factors contributing to job motivation.seniority in more than 5 years are more fancy interest,responsibility and Self-realization,and seniority in the 5 years following the more emphasis on survival,work itself and respect.Finally,The education is different from other factors contributing to job motivation.It also reflects the respect is the mental health teachers pay attention to it,and not because of the different degree and have obvious difference.To sum up,the intrinsic motivation of the work motivation of mental health teachers has different pursuit in material and spiritual level.Mental health teachers believe that external motivation is influenced more by external environment.There are two motivations in intrinsic motivation,one is motivation for survival,and two is motivation of work itself,which is the main motivation of young teachers and unmarried teachers.The motivation of responsibility in intrinsic motivation is the main motivation for married teachers and highly educated teachers over the age of thirty.The main influence of extrinsic motivation is the motivation of the job itself.Mental health teachers have greater teaching age,higher educational background,older teachers and more stable marriage teachers,and their motivation is stronger.The reason why they pay more attention to the spiritual motivation in intrinsic motivation is that after the external environment and the intrinsic motive for survival are satisfied,They strive for self realization.The new teachers,unmarried teachers and teachers with low education will be affected by unstable work and unstable life in various ways,They will consider the survival motivation and environmental motivation of mental health education.In view of this situation,this paper puts forward the following suggestions:From the perspective of intrinsic motivation,Increasing the salaries of mental health teachers can not only stabilize his material concerns,but also increase his motivation for work;For external motivation,The first thing is to optimize the school mental health counseling room,unified teaching materials,textbook research needs strong investment and organization,unified teaching and research atmosphere,make mental health teachers to follow during class.At the same time,reduce mental health teachers in administrative work and other activities in part-time work,so that they can better transfer to their own work,increase their motivation to work. |
