The Role Of Ideological And Political Education In The Cultivation Of Innovative Talents In Universities

In 21st century,talents are required to develope in all-round way and accept new ideas in innovative and open perspective.The whole world is calling for "cultivation of innovative talents".Innovative talents have become the scarcest resource in the knowledge-based economy times.It is innovative talents who promote the progress of human civilization development.Nowadays,cultivation of innovative talents is the new demand in social economy development and international talents strategy.Universities are the most important base for cultivation of innovative talents.The ideological and political education is one of the important education strength,which must move with the times and continue to innovate and explore new ways and methods.The ideological and political education must take the mission and responsibility of cultivation of talents which are endowed by history.Guidance,development,education and regulation are the main functions when cultivating innovative talents by ideological and political education.Cultivating innovative talents in universities by ideological and political education is beneficial to realize the all-round development of college students and useful to enrich and improve the theory of ideological and political education.This article consists of five parts.The first part describes the background,research purpose,meaning,methods and domestic and abroad research situation.The second part emphasizes the implication of innovation,innovative talents and the cultivation of innovative talents in universities.The significance of cultivation of innovative talents in universities in new era is further developed.In the third part,it demonstrates the role of the ideological and political education on performance of guidance,development,education and regulation functions in cultivation of innovative talents in universities,at the same time,it also proves that the ideological and political education plays an important role in the cultivation of innovative talents in universities.In the fourth part,questionnaire survey and interview method are employed to investigate the current situation of the ideological and political education and to analyze the restriction factors of ideological and political education in the cultivation of innovative talents in universities,besides,the achievements and shortcomings of ideological and political education in the cultivation of innovative talents are also summarized.In the fifth part,it demonstrates that in order to make ideological and political education plays a full role in cultivating innovative talents in universities,we should further improve the deficiency of education content,methods,philosophy and education environment and etc,only in this way can we speed up the training of innovative talents and improve the quality of innovative talents in universities.
