With the development of computer-supported collaborative learning and information education,more and more researchers began to focus on the use of online platform to carry out collective collaborative learning activities.However,through the literature research and pre-class learners,we find that there are some problems in the process of online collaborative learning,which leads to the low participation of learners and the low enthusiasm of collaboration.Such as caring more about results than process,caring more about independence than cooperation,and soon on.The gap between this realistic demand and the actual effect is that we need an effective bridging through appropriate scaffolding or learning activities.The knowledge building theory proposed by Scardamalia and Bereiter provides a new idea for the design and practice of online scaffolding collaborative learning activities.This study first examines the present situation of online collaborative teaching practice and online scaffolding teaching from the perspective of knowledge building,Based on this,we constructs an online collaborative knowledge building process model and an online scaffolding collaborative learning activities model for knowledge building,and design some scaffolding to support the collaborative learning activities,such as resource scaffolding,individual learning scaffolding(including individual learning record scaffolding and personal summary scaffolding),and collaborative learning scaffolding(including collaborative problem scaffolding,collaborative discussion scaffolding,collaborative summary scaffolding,and collaborative reflection scaffolding),we uses Sakai platform to apply the design contents to real teaching practice.Taking the course of "educational research method" as an example,the study collects the learning data of the three stages of the formation and sharing of individual problems,the discussion and consultation of collective knowledge,the summary and reflection of collaborative content,and combines the results of the questionnaire survey and the results of the interview to conduct a comprehensive evaluation.The results show that the design of online scaffolding collaborative learning activities for knowledge building plays an important role in promoting learners' online interaction behavior and knowledge growth.Learners are more satisfied with the use of the scaffolding,the use rate of the cooperative problem scaffolding is relatively low,and the use rate of the cooperative discussion scaffolding is relatively high.
