As a basic science researching the biological phenomena,the biology is closely bound by the chemistry,researching material structure and function.With the chemical basic knowledge related to biology,students are able to better study the biology.Such concept is significantly prominent in the senior one teaching practice.However,in view of the textbook arrangement and compilation,the chemistry-related part in the biological teaching of senior high school is not synchronized with that part in chemical teaching.For this reason,the biology teachers and chemistry teachers in senior high school are required to flexibly deal with the relevant contents of course,and carry out the knowledge complementation between biology and chemistry to resolve the prominent knowledge obliviousness.Molecule and Cell,the first compulsory biology textbook in senior high school has abundant inter-discipline knowledge with chemistry.The second and fifth chapters of the first compulsory biology textbook are selected as the research objects,and the basic approach for knowledge complementation between biology and chemistry in senior high school is analyzed on the basis of teaching practice.The basic approaches for complementing chemistry knowledge in the biology teaching consist of the chemical knowledge complementation coordinated with chemistry teachers both on class and after class.What should be noted in the practical teaching are: 1.The chemistry knowledge being the most closely bound by the biology knowledge and adoptable for assisting the biology knowledge learning for students shall be selected to be complemented on class.The chemistry knowledge related t the experiment,operation and research of biology shall be selected to be complemented after class,as to promote the initiative of students.As for the unfamiliar chemistry knowledge being easily repeated with the chemistry teaching,biology teachers shall coordinate with chemistry teachers as to carry out the effective inter-discipline knowledge complementation.2.In the wake of the complementary teaching,the analogical transfer method shall be adopted adequately and specifically,abiding by the prudent scientific perspective,attaching importance to the combination of theory and practice,and enhancing students’ absorbing of knowledge.3.During the complementary teaching,students’ analogical transfer ability shall be nurtured,and students’ extension and ability of tacking down difficulties shall be enhanced.4.In the complementary teaching,four basic principles shall be abided by,inclusive of being appropriate,scientific,exploring and applicable.The results of questionnaire survey indicate that,the complementation of chemistry knowledge in the biology teaching in senior high school shall raise students’ leaning interest,promote students’ perseverance for study and boost their leaning transfer ability.In accordance with the biology examination results before and after carrying out the teaching practice,it is effectively demonstrated that the complementation of chemistry knowledge in biology teaching in senior high school is of necessity to practiced and implemented.
