In 2022,the New Biology Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022Edition)emphasized the development of interdisciplinary teaching practice and the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents.It points out that students’ scientific inquiry and interdisciplinary abilities should be cultivated to enable them to analyze and solve biological problems in real situations.Interdisciplinary teaching can create a comprehensive and authentic situation,which is helpful to cultivate students’ interdisciplinary ability and problem solving ability,and it is an effective way to develop students’ core literacy.It aims to explore the application strategy and case development of interdisciplinary teaching in junior biology teaching,and cultivate students’ interest in biology learning,interdisciplinary consciousness and problem solving ability.First of all,the current situation of junior high school students and front-line teachers are investigated,and the students’ interest in biology learning,interdisciplinary consciousness and problem solving ability are basically understood,so as to provide a basis for the subsequent research on the principles and strategies of interdisciplinary teaching design and the development of interdisciplinary teaching cases.Secondly,according to the division of the curriculum content in the New Curriculum Standard of Biology for Compulsory Education,this paper sorts out the biology textbooks for junior middle schools of the People’s Education Press,summarizes the interdisciplinary teaching knowledge,finds out the entry point of interdisciplinary teaching,and discusses the application strategy of interdisciplinary teaching.It includes preparation teaching strategy,behavior teaching strategy and teaching reflection strategy.Thirdly,we carry out interdisciplinary teaching practice,and adopt interdisciplinary teaching strategies in classroom teaching of experimental class and conventional teaching in control class.Finally,the students’ interest in biology,interdisciplinary consciousness and problem solving ability are measured and analyzed.The results show that the students’ interest in biology,interdisciplinary consciousness and problem solving ability in the experimental class are significantly improved,while the students’ in the control class are not significantly improved.It is found that interdisciplinary teaching can promote the development of students’ interest in biology,interdisciplinary consciousness and problem solving ability.Based on the above results,the following suggestions are put forward to optimize interdisciplinary teaching:firstly,schools should combine local characteristics and resources to strengthen the development of interdisciplinary teaching courses;secondly,teachers should improve their interdisciplinary literacy and actively carry out interdisciplinary teaching;finally,relevant researchers should improve the preparation of cross-disciplinary questions and assignments.This study is expected to provide references for teachers and researchers on how interdisciplinary teaching can cultivate students’ interdisciplinary consciousness and problem solving ability in junior biology,and enrich teaching strategies and empirical research of interdisciplinary teaching. |
