Objectives:1.To objectively and comprehensively assess the physiological function,mental and psychological function,activity ability and social function of the elderly in nursing home,and then reflects care needs of the elderly.2.To assess the service supply for the elderly using care time in nursing home.3.To explore the relationship between care needs and service supply of the elderly,and revealing the supply of all aspects of care needs of the elderly.Methods:This is a cross-sectional study,a convenient sample was 371 elderly people from nursing homes of the five districts of Jinan City.We screened the widely used assessment tools for each evaluation index to assess the aged care needs according to the "Care needs assessment index for the elderly living in nursing homes" in this research.In addition,the estimated daily care time by the elderly was used to assess the service supply for the elderly in nursing home.Statistical analysis was implemented using SPSS21.0.Descriptive analysis were used to describe the general information,care needs of the elderly and service supply of the nursing home.Multiple linear regression and Logistic regression were used to analyzed the relationships between care needs and service supply of the nursing home.Results:1.There were 65.2%of the elderly have insufficient social networks,53.9%had one or more barriers of the instrumental activity of daily living,the percentage of cognitive impairment,sleep disorder,malnutrition,constipation,lonely were 62%,45.6%,42.6%,42%,27.5%.There were 21%of the elderly had one or more behavioral symptoms,6.7%of the elderly had moderate and severe visual impairment,and 5.7%had moderate and severe hearing difficulties.2.The care time for the elderly is 3-205.64 minutes per day in daily care,however,80.3%of the elderly have never received the corresponding professional care,83%of the elderly have not received spiritual comfort service,50.1%of the elderly have never received supervision.3.The results showed that the daily life care time between the elderly who with and without daily life difficult,dyskinesia were significant difference(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the elderly who with and without visual,hearing and cognitive impairment(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in professional care time between the elderly who with and without pressure ulcers,risk of pressure ulcers,constipation,incontinence,sleep disorders,visual impairment,hearing impairment(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in spiritual comfort time between the elderly who with and without cognitive impairment,depression,anxiety,loneliness,behavioral problems,lack of social support(P>0.05).The supervision time between the elderly who with and without depression was a significant difference(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the elderly who with and without visual impairment,dysphagia,cognitive impairment,anxiety,behavioral problems,malnutrition,dyskinesia(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.There are different levels of dysfunction in the physiological,mental,psychological function,and the social function of the elderly,and different care needs of the elderly in daily life care,professional care,spiritual comfort,supervision and diet.2.The supply of service for the elderly was not optimistic and still mainly focus on daily life care services.3.The daily life care needs of the elderly have been a greater degree of supply,but seriously inadequate of supply in the professional care,spiritual comfort and supervision service.
