In recent years,the ability of engineering practice in the engineering education is attracted by incresing people.However,the traditional theory of engineering education is hard in the promotion,and theory of OBE can break through these limitations.That OBE theory,refers to design the education goal as the students' learning outcomes.OBE theory emphasizes the reality of education output,teaching as an important evaluation index of engineering practice's ability and has been applied to the measurement.In this study,the research object is the education engineering of the university in the Hubei Province,the variables is engineering practice's ability of engineering students;the goal is find the key factors to improve the ability of engineering practice which improve the ability of engineering practice.Finally it obtained several new conclusions.The state of engineering practice's ability:1.It showed that weakness in the engineering thinking,the ability of system(C?D?I?O),understand of entriprise and social.2 It showed that the students have the weakness in the basic skills,the using of modern tools,management and organization,understand the state of the development of society and enterprises.3 The professor demand that the students can improve quickly the ability of solution.The factors that improving the engineering practice's ability:1.The engineering practice's ability can be improved if the students participate in all kinds of practice activities.2.Teaching resources,content,extracurricular activities(Scientific Research)are the factors of students' engineering thinking of the training.3.The research competitions and activities will help students to improve their ability in the work in real industrial environment and the understanding of social and business environment;4.The students think that teachers have a great engineering practice background is very improtant.therefore,with the help of OBE theory put forward a four point: production and study the development of cooperative education;teaching method improvement;the improvement of teaching evaluation system and encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities.
