| In recent years,China’s higher engineering education has developed rapidly and has the largest scale of engineering education in the world.However the engineering education system in our country is large but not strong enough.The creativity and practice ability of graduate is weak,which has become a major problem in higher engineering education in China.As the engineering practice teaching ability of teacher is one of the most important influence factors of this problem,the improvement is an urgent need in the current.Beijing University of Technology is a typical university that focuses on engineering.Many engineering disciplines have passed the professional certification of engineering education.It has made great efforts and yield substancial results in cultivating students’ engineering practical ability.This paper is study about the engineering teachers who undertake undergraduate engineering practice courses.By reading the literature,we understand the current situation of the domestic and international universities engineering practice teaching ability of teacher.Basedon the structuralteacher competency theory,we investigates the current situation of the practical teaching ability of teachers in universities of China.Take the experiences of the advanced international engineering college,and combine with China’s national conditions,we puts forward some suggestions for improving the practical teaching ability of engineering teachers in colleges and universities in China.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background,research significance,relevant concept definition,research objectives and research methods.The second chapter briefly introduces the research status of engineering teachers’ engineering quality,teaching ability and practical teaching ability.The third chapter introduces the theoretical basis and research design of this research and explains the particularity of engineering teachers’ engineering practice teaching ability.Through the expert interviews and literature review,the structure of engineering practice teaching ability of engineering teachers in colleges and universities has finally established,and makes research and design on this basis.The fourth chapter makes an overall analysis,difference analysis and comparative analysis on the evaluation of teachers and students.The fifth chapter puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve engineering practice teaching ability of engineering teachers in colleges and universities.The last would be about the conclusion and prospect. |
