It is a fact that the teaching result of Ideology and Politics course is not completely effective. The reasons are very complicated. Among which, the inflexibility of teaching methods and lack of enthusiasm are the most important reasons. This paper's research is based on the methods of improving the efficacy of the teaching of Moral Cultivation and Legal Basics course(hereinafter called Basic Course), for instance, introducing Group Guidance method in psychology into Basic Course class in order to better teaching effect. The paper first overviews Group Guidance techniques, introduces its concept, history, and status quo of it, and introduces relevant theories. Further, the paper analyzes the feasibility of integration between Group Guidance techniques and Basic Course from the following four aspects:the common in teaching audience, the integration of teaching objectives, the meeting of teaching principles, and the agreement of teaching mechanism and function. The paper also focus on the application of Group Guidance techniques in classroom, of which role play, group game, behavior training, and group discussion are four typical techniques to be applied. Finally, realistic case of applying the above mentioned integration is included at the end of the paper, introducing practical application process and detailed information.
