The development and utilization of local history curriculum resources is a highlight of the new round of curriculum reform.As a useful supplement to history teaching in middle school,it has irreplaceable educational function.It is not only good for the application of new curriculum reform,but it is also beneficial for middle school students to have a good understanding and recognition on local history and culture.At the same time,it makes them have humanistic feelings of love their hometown and their country during the process of accepting historical knowledge.Further more,it is helpful for the unity of knowledge education and humanity education.The current paper consists of four parts in total.Xi'an rich historical and cultural heritage,for the history teaching in the middle school provides a variety of local history curriculum resources.If we can use these curriculum resources in the history teaching in middle school,we will certainly play a positive role in promoting the new curriculum reform in Xi'an.Of course,the use of Xi'an local history curriculum resources is still in the exploratory stage,and needs further improvement.The application of Xi'an local history curriculum resources in middle school history teaching expounds systematically how to use the local history curriculum resources in the history teaching of middle school.This paper is composed of four parts: in the introduction,the author defines the local history and local history curriculum resources concept,the system of Xi'an local history curriculum resources in middle school history teaching in the value and significance of the research,the status quo and problems to be solved in this paper.In the first part,the author mainly discusses the development course,classification and content of Xi'an local history curriculum resources.With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,Xi'an local history curriculum resources have become an indispensable part of the history teaching in middle school.The second part of the investigation through questionnaire,seminars and other forms of use of the Xi'an area high school history teachers and students about the local history curriculum resources,to prepare for the method on the application of local history curriculum resources in history teaching in middle school.In the third part,the author focuses on the practice of Xi'an local history curriculum resources through the case study of the curriculum,the purpose of which is to focus on the middle school history teaching.In the fourth part,the author analyzes the effect and the existing problems of Xi'an local history curriculum resources and the improvement ideas.In conclusion,with the deepening of the new curriculum to promote,in the middle school history teaching in the use of local history curriculum resources is very necessary,but in the actual teaching has also been attempted,hoping to provide some help to middle school history teachers.
