| A new round of curriculum reform put forward to change the traditional teaching method that imparting knowledge and the learning method of passive acceptance,promote students ability of asking question,analyzing and solving problems.And gradually develop students’ sense of innovation and practical ability.The rise of the after-school practice activities of geography is the reflection and the development to the traditional geography classroom teaching under the background of the new round of curriculum reform.It is a teaching method based on "activity" and "local geography".It is a kind of teaching method which mainly focuses on problem-based study,emphasizes the cultivation of students’ basic skills,comprehensive thinking and practical ability.Also,it is an evaluation method which pay more attention to teaching process than teaching results.The after-school practice activities of geography in junior high school is differ from in University,which has the characteristics of basic,universal and rural in stage of compulsory education.It can be carried out to enable students to enter the community,experience nature,understand on life,accept the basic knowledge and basic ability that useful to life-long development.Through the study of the relevant literature,the author understood the development of the practice activities of geography at home and abroad,and found that the scholars of our country have less research on the after-school practice activities of geography in junior high school.Through the communication with the geography teachers in the Arxan areas,the author found a case that the after-school practice activities ofgeography not be carried out in the Arxan areas.These two defects provides a research direction for this paper.After determining the direction of the research,the author has carried out the research on the design of the after-school practice activities of geography in junior high school the Arxan City under the theories’ guidance of pedagogy,educational psychology,geography and the principle of the after-school practice activities of geography in junior high school.First of all,the author based on the requirements of the compulsory education geography curriculum standards(2011 edition)to determine seven classes of topic that are suited to implement the after-school practice activities of geography in junior high school,there are about earth,weather,landform,soil biology,hydrology,population and culture,economic and external relations.On this basis,the author analyzed the junior high school geography textbooks published by People’s Education Press for obtaining the concrete and particular contents to corresponding to seven classes of topic talking above.Secondly,through the literature research and combining with the understanding to Arxan the mountain,sort out 22 geography resources about nature and human.According to the principle of typical in local geography resources and the principle of comprehensive and proximity of the after-school practice activities of geography in junior high school,the11 places were selected as the final practice place from the 22 resources,and the author carried out field trips for these 11 sites.In the seven categories of practical activities identified by the curriculum standards,the dependence of the earth and the meteorological climate on the place of practice is not strong.Therefore,the author has classified the other five categories of subjects in the city of Arxan.Finally,from the perspective of teachers and students,respectively,put forward the process of carrying out the geography after-school practice activities,including the preparatory work before the event,thethe main work of activities and the summary work after activities.On this basis,through the comprehensive analysis,design three natural geography practice program and a human geography practice program.The program includes the preparation of activities,the time required for the event,the objectives of the event,the task of activities,study procedures and thinking,summing up the work.The four common features of the four design programs are: the educating park as the center,with the same radiation radius to select the active area;the default students to think about the answers to ensure that the activities in an orderly manner.In addition,the author combined with this paper,put forward four recommendations to design of junior high school geography after-school practice activities,in order to help first-line geography teachers to carry out activities. |
