As part of the private higher education in our country, the independent college has played a positive role. In the independent college, stable and efficient counselor team is prerequisite to ensure the smooth implementation of the work, and has a positive effect on the construction of campus culture and environment. However, independent college is newly developed in recent years, it is still not mature enough in various aspects, and especially some problems still exist in the counselor team, such as restriction in management system, irrational team structure, complexity of the work and hardship in career development. And the lack of stability which results from insufficient development space also plays a negative role in carrying out other work. Therefore, the main task now to the independent college is to strengthen the construction of the counselor team and give full play to the important value of it.The author got a large number of related information by searching the internet and going to the library, and then started the research on Pioneer College Inner Mongolia University on the basis of mastering the research status at home and abroad. Going deep into the college counselors to know their true ideas exactly, the author not only analyzed the development situation and personnel transfer of the counselor team, but also studied the problems exist in counselor team construction and the reasons, and put forward the relevant countermeasures and suggestions to further promote the healthy development of the counselor team, improve the quality of it.The final aim is to ensure them be capable of giving students the best help in study and life.
