The basic purpose of education is to realize the all-round development of people.But for a long time people think more highly of cognition and result than emotion and process in academic evaluation,which makes the goal of education narrower.The curriculum reform can change this situation or not,it depends on evaluation reform."Variety of measurements creates more good students."Besides the traditional paper-and-pencil test,homework can play an effective role in academic evaluation.Combine the final evaluation with formative evaluation,which is not only the requirements of advanced theories in evaluation such as Constructivism,Multiple intelligences and Post-modernism,but also showing the different evaluation results from a single paper-and-pencil test in the preliminary practice.The thesis attempts to make routine homework and performance homework together.Furthermore,try to evaluate students’academic level according to the paper-and-pencil test and homework as well.This thesis mainly consists of three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction mainly elaborates the reasons for selecting this topic,reviews the situation of this research,and defines the concepts which are related.The text is divided into three chapters.From the reality and theories such as Constructivism,Multiple intelligences and Post-modernism,the first chapter discusses the reason for taking history homework as a mean to evaluate students’academic level.Under the guidance of these theories,the second chapter divides homework in two parts,routine homework and performance homework,which make the evaluation standards different in practice.Through experiment and analysis,the third chapter verifies the evaluation effects which are made in different history homework.Demonstrate the role homework played in evaluation,in the aspects of improving history test scores and core literacy.On the basis of the full text,conclusion talks about the following issues.How to handle relationships with existing and new evaluation method of homework evaluation?How to face the resistance in evaluation reform?How to solve the limitation in the evaluation?Homework is not only a means to consolidate the knowledge of history,but various forms of history learning activities elaborated by teachers to achieve some certain goals of history education.In addition to the cognitive result of senior high school history homework,evaluation includes the development of core literacy in the course of history study.This aspect has also been involved in this thesis,which is going to be further researched in the future.
