With the continuous advancement of supply-side reform in China,there will cause a series of major changes on the structure of society,economy and industry,and the major construction in secondary vocational school must be changed.By analyzing a specific case of a county's economic society development,and combining the reality of a local secondary vocational school,this paper tries to reveal the inherent law and general characteristics of major construction in the secondary vocational school under the background of supply-side reform.This paper showed that the theoretical foundation of the supply-side reform in secondary vocational education was the interaction development theory of vocational education and economic society.As people's congnition strengthened gradually,this theoretical research has gradually focused on the supply and demand,and demand research ahead of supply research.At present,the interactive relationship of vocational education and economy and society development has formed a wide range of social cognition.The major construction in secondary vocational schools has to joint with the industry,and industrial transformation is inevitable to cause a series reforms of the major construction in secondary vocational education.Taking Wuan,a county of Hebei province as an example,this paper analyzed the specific interaction of the secondary vocational education and economic society development.The research results showed that the development of Wuan's economy and society is strong,every industry develops rapidly,and industrial structure has changed obviously.WVEC(Wuan Vocational Education Center)has built 12 types of major,and providing the important human resources for regional economic society,but there are still presented appearances of incoordinational and unstable.This paper investigated the major construction in WVEC.Five of twelve types of major in WVEC,including Agriculture and Farming,Processing and Manufacturing,Information Technology,Finance and Economy,Transportation are relatively excellent but need to adjust its internal structure;The other five types of major,including Cultural and Arts,Medicine and Health,Leisure and Health Care,Civil and Hydraulic Engineering,Education are favorable,and still has a large improving room;The two types major,ourism and services and others are ordinary and must strengthen construction.This paper suggested that four principles including scientificity,adaptability,efficiency and expansibility to strengthen the major construction in WVEC must be followed.Moreover,the government,schools and all sectors of society must cooperate closely together.The government should strengthenthe system supply to promote the formation of diversified investment subject.Schools should be according to the regional economic society development needs to strengthen major construction and curriculum system construction,enrich the course content and improve educational teaching methods.All sectors of society should be mobilized to put into vocational education actively,enhance the level of major construction in secondary vocational school continuously to make secondary vocational schools to provide powerful talent support for regional economic society development.
