Parents are the first teachers of their children's life, their mastery of psychological knowledge and scientific application have a positive effect on children. "Guidance of Strengthening the Family Education" issued by the Ministry of Education in 2015 clearly states: "playing an active role in family education of children's growth and promoting students' healthy growth and overall development." The parents' psychological class become more and more popular with society and parents, which is one of the aspect of propaganda and popularization of psychology knowledge.This study investigated 353 parents in Nanchang whose children were studying in kindergartens to university by using self-compiled needs questionnaire of parents' psychological class. This survey used simple random sampling and aimed at understanding parents' notion of family education and their expectations and attitudes of psychological class construction. The results showed that 57.5% of parents wanted to learn the skill of communicating with their children,42.5% of parents would like to master the psychological development of their children, 64.3% of parents thought parents' psychological class should be practical and multiform, 53% of parents were willing to participate in parents' psychological class, 86.7% of parents thought that schools and social educational institutions should set up parents' psychological class.In order to construct parents' psychological class more comprehensively, this study believe that the following aspects should be considered. First, clear target. It must make the parents recognize their role from curriculum, parents and teachers aspects, understand the characteristic of children's psychological development and master scientific education pattern. Second, a suitable content settings. It should offer different courses for different needs of parents. Third, detailed implementation process. It should explore in terms of organization, faculty, promotion, teaching methods, time, and costs etc. Forth, sound evaluation system. It can be evaluated from the form of organization, construction target, course content and teaching methods and curriculum effectiveness.
