Abstract/Summary:
The May Fourth Movement has important status and effect in senior middle school history curriculum, it between the course of Xinhai revolution and the course of Chinese Communist Party be founded. The outbreak of The May Fourth Movement make Chinese enter a new historical period, ending the old democratic revolution and starting the new democratic revolution.The May Fourth Movement is treated as one of the most difficult content in history teaching, because students have some trouble in understanding content of this course. There are few of research of The May Fourth Movement in Chinese. Therefore, this article try to research teaching status, teaching strategy, teaching implement, teaching rethink and teaching summarize of The May Fourth Movement.This article has been divided into three parts.The first part research the teaching status of The May Fourth Movement. First, this article choose and contrast four editions textbook: People’s Education Press, Beijing Normal University Press, People’s Publishing House and Yuelu Press, analyzing merits and drawbacks of their content, introductory word, knowledge structure and accessory system, pointing out the shortcoming in traditional teaching at the same time.The second part research the teaching strategy. In order to prepare The writer expound teaching strategy on The May Fourth Movement from introducing new historical research results, update teacher’s notion of using textbook and master the curriculum standard, integrate textbook.The third part is about teaching and rethink of The May Fourth Movement. The writer according to analyze the first and second part, drew up a detailed instructional design of The May Fourth Movement and use it in classroom. Then the writer collect, analyze and summarize feedback from people who listen this course, including teachers and students. Finally, the writer rethinks design and teaching of The May Fourth Movement according to feedback.
